Watering Tips
Water stressed lawns always have more disease, insect and weed problems. Below are some typical water related problems and their solutions. So PLEASE follow the instructions below and your lawn should improve.
Uneven Watering (Localized Dry Spots) - Adjusting the watering patern and/or fixing broken sprinkler heads will solve this problem.
Under watered (Drought Stress in all or part of the lawn) - Water the under-watered areas longer or more frequently until your lawn responds.
When temperatures reach the eighties, you should be watering, at least, 20-30 minutes per zone every day, between the hours of 5-10am. The warmer the temperature gets, the more water your lawn will require to stay healthy.
Call if your lawn doesn't improve within 10 days to two weeks or if you have any questions.

Mowing Tips
Cut your lawn when it reaches 3 inches in length. Longer grass absorbs more sunlight for photosynthesis and will help keep crabgrass and other weeds out.
Cut no more than 1/3 of the grass blade length at each cutting. (Once per week, should do it)
Alternate cutting your lawn going horizontally and vertically. This will give it a more full and balanced look.
Leave grass clippings on the lawn to decompose. As they decompose, they provide natural, organic nitrogen to the lawn, which helps keep moisture in, and will also minimize weeds.
Check the mower blade regularly to insure it is sharp. Have the blade sharpened, at least, twice per season. Dull blades will hack and chop the grass blades, leaving unattractive ragged, brown edges, risking lawn damage and allowing disease pathogens to attack your lawn.
It is a good idea to wash-out the underside of the lawn mower deck after each cutting this will help to stop grass from molding on the deck and also prevent transfering diseases back to the lawn. Wipe the body of your mower to remove grass, dirt, dust and any moisture after each use. It will look better, and last longer.
Change the engine oil 2 times each year, clean the air filter once per month and change the park plug once per year or as needed.
