Iron Deficiency

Iron Deficiency -> Click to ZoomHow do I know that my landscape has iron deficiency?

Tree leaves will have a dark interior along the veins and will be very light green or even yellow on the outer portion of the leaf. In advanced stages, brown spots will appear among the leaf veins.

What will happen to my landscape? Iron deficiencies usually show signs of tree and shrub stress typically among pin oaks, azalea, rhododendron, maples and hollies. The nutrient loss will stunt the growth of leaves; this will cause trees and shrubs to be unable to produce food properly.

What can I do about iron deficiency? Some over the counter products are available at your local nursery or hardware store. Be sure to purchase products that have a high iron content to correct the deficiency present.

How can Natural Way help me? Here at Natural Way we have certified professionals who are used to dealing with iron deficient plants and other problems all season long. Natural Way can provide a critically timed injection to the deficient trees and shrubs that will introduce iron directly into the cambium layer to help the plant make chlorophyll to improve its health.

Whatever you decide, the longer your landscape is left untreated, the greater the chance the affected trees and shrubs will undergo unrecoverable damage. Your landscape represents a growing investment worth protecting.
